Special Teams

Do we need a new special teams coach. I know Ekeler is Special Teams Coordinator among other titles but I’m not impressed with our special teams. Tonight the two biggest errors were:

1. Not fielding a punt that bounced at least 15 yards downfield. We then went three and out and Arkansas gained about 20 yards on the exchange in punts.
2. Running into the punter. In a close game if it is 4th and less than 5 you don’t need to be near the punter.

That play was critical in the outcome of this game. Ross made a terrible mistake.

Just leave punter Jackson Ross out of any changes. He’s been doing a great job this year and one of maybe 2 bright spots at AR.
