I would have been shocked if he even went above the 6th or 7th. Too erratic both in his throws and his mental makeup.

Ceiling for him is probably CFL or one of the spring leagues.

His awareness in the pocket and reading coverage is average.
He needs that draft stock upgrade next season.
His season highlights are almost all from the UT game.
He needs a strong campaign.
Maybe he needs to approach Beamer about how to make the gnarliest hype video of all-time.

It was a big game for them. If Tennessee really is “back”, we will see a lot more of this. It is what it is. I do think there is overboard, but I don’t think he went overboard given how big a win and performance it was for him.

South Carolina fans are now crowing about being dark horse SEC East title contenders. They better enjoy their fun while it lasts, because their schedule is not an easy one in 2023.

They open the season against a likely Heisman favorite in Drake Maye and the Tarheels in Charlotte. They played at Georgia two weeks later. They could be 1-2 quickly. They also have Tennessee in Knoxville, the Aggies in College Station looking for a bounce back season, and Clemson. That’s 5 losses I see happening. And you know the big ole boob that is Beamer is good for a head scratching loss somewhere else.

Trash is a little negative here, it’s time for Volnation to realize that a new era is here and to be positive moving forward.

Since this is a September game and we will probably need something to justify the Non UT media to move UT up in the poll, may I suggest that CJH follow Satan’s early season coaching philosophy and hang 75+ “Style” Points on uscJR.
