Unless the wheels fall off, the Cavs aren't firing Blatt this year/offseason. Maybe next year if there is a noticeable decline. Nets are a mess. Wouldn't go near that franchise right now.

Coach Cal stays put at UK for at least one more year. No way he goes to the Nets. Their draft picks are gone for the next 100 years, plus have the most expensive roster in the NBA right now.

If an NCAA investigation comes up.
A pro team throws big money at him.
He becomes bored from winning all the time.

What really struck me tonight...

I think if Calipari were to leave (and if they did win 40-0, there's no where to go but down from there)....I could see Kentucky going after Bruce. They obviously don't have issues with people with NCAA history...that would be scary.

I think the Kentucky job is probably the highest pressure job in the country. I'm not sure Cal would ever leave, bc he is an amazing recruiter and wouldn't have nearly the control that he does now in the Nba. But...at some point, the pressure is going to get to him, I think. People are going to expect results like this every year, and it just doesn't happen that way. JMO. The crazy thing is Cal either has to ride it out at KY until he retires or is fired, or he has to go to NBA. There really is no going anywhere else. Anywhere else is a downgrade.
