Spoke with a Cincy grad today

Hey guys this is not a CBJ bashing thread. I, for one, think he has done great his first few weeks on campus. I had lunch with a Cincy grad today and I ask his opinion on Jones. He said he thought Jones could get us to 8-9 wins a year but never contend for a championship. He also said UT would fire him within 5 years. Like I said I think he can do great things here he seems to really have a fire inside him that we haven't seen on The Hill in many years. The only reason I made this thread was to see if any of you had talked to other Cincy fans and see what they had to say.

No, have not spoken to any of them. However; should we get 8 or 9 wins per season on the average, then I doudt Jones will be fired, unless it is an NCAA rules violation thing.

I could give two $h!tz about what a Cincy grad has to say about Butch Jones. This is a different platform and a whole new level and he's doing a great (so far). Useless thread is useless...

I am looking to win the SEC championship 2015. I have that much patience . Cannot spell Tennessee with out bUTch !

So a guy who lost his coach to another school no longer thinks that coach is awesome.

:eek:hmy:If this is not a bash thread, why post this like me and you sitting down and asking your opinion dont really matter time will tell has won at every level i know this is the almighty SEC, BUT LETS SEE WHAT HE CAN DO 8 OR 9 SOUNDS GOOD RIGHT NOW, after we get to 8 or 9 then we can start bi@ching about not winning 10.

I talked to a Vandy Grad today, he said James Franklin was a A$$hole. i said well, you guys got something in common. Now, here's $20 bucks give me my pizza.

Jesus Christ guys! I just wanted to see if you guys had spoke to anyone that had similar opinions or if they really hated to lose him. Y'all do realize the season is over and this is all we have to talk about. If you think the thread is useless remember this you don't have read or comment.

WTF! Ramble on! Is it a rule that people aren't supposed to make proper sentences anymore? Reading stuff like this gives me a damn headache...mercy!

What does a grad student know about college football and winning in the SEC. now if that grad student was Nick Saban, then I'd listen. Btw, 9 wins a year means you are close to having a great season where you would go 11-1 and be ranked in the top 5.
