I was bored and made this page today with a database I'd been working on of every sporting event I'd been to. Even though its not complete, I thought I'd share it with you guys.

I'm still missing tons of UTC basketball games that I went to as a student there in 92-96. Funny enough I only went to 3 football games there and it was usually just to see the other team (see Alcorn State).

Comments are welcome:

Interesting, but I never kept a list of sporting events I have been to, probably too difficult to remember now.

I will agree with you on The Masters. I grew up 15 minutes from that course and was lucky enough to go to it many times. It is a totally different type of enjoyment than say, going to a game at Neyland or another football venue.

So few, I can name them.

Texans/Titans game in 2003. McNair's career day passing the ball.

2 Cardinals/Reds games in 1999 in Cincinnati. Villone threw a one-hitter against the Cards in the first game. It was somewhere around 150 degrees for the second game, and our seats were about 5 rows up down the first base line. McGwire hit a homerun late in the game.

2 Predators games in the 2000/2001 season.

That's it.

I saw the Rangers play when I lived in Texas... Too little to remember it exactly. Although Rangers games are the earliest memories I have. Also went to Cowboys games.

Then I moved up here. A number of Portland Trailblazers, Portland Beavers (AAA affiliate of the San Diego Padres), Seattle Mariners (I saw games in the KingDome but have yet to at SafeCo Field), Oregon and Oregon State games. I still haven't gone to see a Portland State game, because I usually prefer to watch D-IA on tv.

Other than that, been to a couple Dodgers games in LA, Braves vs. Cubs at Wrigley Field a couple years back... That's all I can think of?

Oh, and one Civil War game with my next coming up in a month.

That is absolutely bizarre. I was at those Reds-Cards games. Pokey Reese hit a homerun to win the Villone game. Fernando Tatis hit a homerun off Danny Graves to win the other game for the Cards. Small world.

I guess the biggest would be Leonard vs Hagler, when Leonard was an underdog and I cashed in !

Crazy. We were sitting out in left field for the first game in hopes of catching a McGwire homerun. We got there early for batting practice and everything and got close to a few. Ironically enough, his homerun in the second game went to right field.

and add to this the NIT consolation and championship games at MSG in November. i hope to see my two teams, UT and IU, play for and win the 1st and 3rd.

i've been to bonnaroo twice and have seen various concerts in TN, KY, OH, NC, and GA.

i think that covers it.

Have attended several Vols, UNC, and Clemson footballgames although I hate Clemson. Also numerous Atlanta Falcon games, always to pull for the opposition. Have seen UNC and NC State play BB several times both in Reynolds Auditorium and old Charmichael Auditorium. Several Atlanta Braves baseball games, a couple each GGO and Kemper Open (Charlotte) years ago, Several Nascar races at Atlanta, Charlotte, Talledega, and Daytona in Earnhardt's heyday, several air shows including the Osh Kosh Fly-In (go to see the Blue Angels, Sean Tucker, Warbirds), Concerts to see Doobie Bro's (2) Three Dog Night (2) Seals and Crofts, 4 Seasons, Rod Stewart, John Fogerty, Charlie Daniels (3), Black Oak Arkansas, Molly Hatchet, Edgar Winter, Ferrante and Teicher, Nantucket, Kiss, and took my daughter to Winston Salem to see New Kids on the Block and MC Hammer. I'm an old guy and these events have been spread over many years.
Most unique: I saw the MILWAUKEE Braves play the Giants in County Stadium in 1962.
Also saw the Cub and Mets play a night game at Wrigley and I sat in the left centerfield bleachers with all the crazies.

Biggest thing I've ever been to was the clinching game 6 of the '95 World Series. Pretty cool to go to a World Series much less see the celebration. I was also at the WS in 91 and in 96 for the game where Jim Leyritz probably killed the Braves dynasty in one swing.

I envy you. I would love to see a World Series game but probably never will. The Braves are in serious decline and I just can't swing a long trip to another ball park at my age.

I was there for the '95 game as well. Justice's game winner was about 20 seats toward center from where I was sitting.
