If ND is overrated, we're going to know it fast. Their schedule opens up tough in the first 3 weeks.

Florida is, in my opinion as a Gator, overrated this year. We lost another offensive lineman today.

Clemson? Did I miss something with them? Didn't they just lose their best, or one of, QB of all time? Are they planning on overachieving rather than underachieving this season?

Anywho, this must mean SI's College Football Preview issue is coming out this week. Always like reading the page or so devoted to the top 25 plus the extra line or two for everyone else.

Yeah, losing Whitehurst was big, but Tids, I know you know that one player does not make or break a team.

Sure, but would you go as far as to say the 2006 Clemson team will bring back memories of the 1998 Vols?

what in the blue hell is clemson doing in the top 20. I dont think they have a chance in hell at winning the NC as lon as they are in the ACC

Clemson losing Whitehurst is probably a good thing for them. He was a solid QB but he really was a terrible leader on the field. He reminds me of Aaron Brooks...put up #'s but could never come through in the clutch.

Still, them being in any Top 10-15 is a little too high.

Where has anyone said Clemson could win a NT? They are ranked in the top 20!

I was just making the comparison of a school losing the best or one the best QBs in their history and one player not making the team, as clearly was the case in 1998 for the Vols.

Plus, they're both orange. Similarities abound.
