The 11:00 central sportscenter opened with our game.We embarrassed them. Huge for confidence, lets just hope the don't start getting a big head.

Beat me to it. They spent a good amount of time on our highlights.


LOL at UK. Last night they're showing their near loss at home to a nobody and tonight they show us crushing a nobody. Perfect.

Yeah, that was great that they chose to lead with our blowout instead of one of the better games of the evening.

Nice segment entitled "Rocky Top This!" it compared the combined stats of both them mens and womens team to UNCA and TTU

Digger Phelps just said Tennessee was the most impressive team during the College Basketball tip off marathon. Said Tennessee is a team that is waiting to explode, and did tonight. Additionally he added that after the loss in the first round last season to Ok State, Tennessee really wanted to get to the Final 4.

Good stuff, and good publicity.

Was more about how bad UNCA was, but still good press and exciting. I was more excited about how enthused Digger was about the Vols.

I don't care how bad a team you are, not scoring a FG until 12+ minutes into the game has to say something about Tennessee's defense. Plus, Tennessee was lights out last night. At one point we had scored on 18 of 22 possessions with no turnovers. And everyone was passing the ball around. Nice to see some Tennessee Basketball again.

Heck yeah. I didn't catch sports center last night but I did catch them after the Duke game talk about us pretty nicely. Great publicity.

I was listening to some of the UGA vs. Wofford game on the way home last night here in ATL. UGA was down by 4 at the time and they gave the UT score, we were up by 60 at that point. The play by play UGA homer commented, "man we gotta play UT twice this year don't we". Hysterical.

We played good. UNCA played awful. They missed quite a few close range shots and a lot of unforced turnovers.

I know it's early and we've been playing a lower caliber of team, but i've been impressed so far with what i've seen out of Tennessee. Seem to be playing with more aggression on defense and know what they want to do offensively. So far so good, we'll be able to gauge them better when Kansas and a few others play them.
