pay special attention to the last line, and the amount of refund owed. its funny that my dad made nowhere near that but because he is a small buisness owner, the barckstars refund is nearly what my dad paid in taxes.... hey barack spread the wealth pay my dads taxes, that seems to be the common trend with you, pick up the tab for everyone else that isnt pulling their part

I'm no tax expert but it looks like they made estimated payments and he overpaid by that amount. Doesn't look as criminal as you make it out to be.

And surely you aren't saying he made too much money?

No, he wrote a book that garnered enough interest from the public to make a lot of money. This is the way it works in America. He made over 3 Million this past year, more power to him I say. I do however find it very funny that a good number of his most loyal supporters are those that think people making this kind of money are evil and greedy people who take from others. That is where the humor is in this instance. Some people are just freakin' clueless.

If that thing's real, he paid a load of taxes. He appears to be spreading the wealth, unlike the vast majority of his cabinet nominees.

Wow, I have the opposite reaction as you. Looks like he did pay a hell of a lot of taxes, and practiced what he preached. Still don't like it, though.

Preached about what? Check his numbers before he got big into politics. I think it was either 2002 or 2003 that they earned roughly $250,000 and gave $1000 to charity.
