the bigger question is how will they handle the autograph session same as when dooley was there or like when fulmer just had the players stand around.

Is there anything out there to support my opinion that practices being so spread out that injuries might be more likely to occur??

It seems to me that having a complete week away from football might increase the chances of injuries. Anybody feel that way?

a complete week away from it will also allow for sluggish start to the second week and forgetfulness of some of the plays.

I wouldnt think so but if that was the case I doubt coach's would do it that way. Isnt that week off for spring break common everywhere?

My uninformed opinion (since i don't have the college hc experience most of you do) monday's are strength training; tuesdays' on the field, wednesday..film review teaching and position drills ; thurs on the field; friday's..film review and teaching with position drills. Saturday field. As far as injuries go, injuries happen especially to unconditioned bodies and most often to fatigued ones at that. With spring break in the middle of all of this ... inside work will continue. It actually provides a learning opportunity for the team to learn from the practice film. So ... no it does not support more injuries

That week off is common everywhere. Fulmer did it too. Its Spring Break and they deserve that week to do as they want. Thsy dont get that time off often. Dont see it effecting the learning of the plays either.

I thought players left and went home or elsewhere during that week off.

Yes I think this format is very common around college and understand exactly why coaches want it this way. I just wonder if it makes injuries more prevalent? That's my guess based on absolutely no evidence

No. It's not like the players won't be doing their workouts as usual.

I once took off a week from work

Had to be retrained again

I once took the summer off during school

Had to do over previous grade because I had forgotten everything

I see what you did there. Out freakin standing! I am sure that someone will come back to correct you on some obscure inaccuracy to the great laydown you provided.
