With everything that has been goin on, arrest of schaffer and smith, injuries, and 20 SURGERIES since january: this has been one of the roughest springs that i have witnessed as a vol fan. anybody else agree with me on this?

i think the nc is still a couple of years away.

we need at least a junior qb to lead us all the way. with or without the problems i feel that our schedule will get the best of us and we will trip up somewhere along the way......i still bleed orange though. jmo.

Why do we need a junior QB to lead us? Is that the rule or something?

why do we need one junior qb when we have ONE SMART SENIOR QB and 2 EXTREMELY TALENTED SOPHOMORES. :rocks:

i never said it was a rule. it just is important to have upperclassmen leadership.

like i said its just my opinion. everyone is entitled.

So if they win the NC this year, are you not going accept it? Are you gonna want them to give it back because they didn't have a junior QB?

I'm just messing with ya man....

wow cbc, didn't see that coming from you. I myself feel this is our best year to get this title. man we are going to be the crap, and the sec is kinda down this year. we get passed lsu and florida, I think we got it.

Remember that LSU did lose alot of defense talent. also I dont think florida is going to beat us this year.

NC baby. Ainge is going to take us all the way, but i have a feeling that he aint gonna be able to do it without brent saving him a couple times.

This could very well be a good thing. If the young players develop into contributors this fall and the ones out can come back healthy then this could be the best thing that could happen. The Jr's and Sr's know what is going on so fall camp is all they really need on the field but the young ones really need the time to develop into steady contributors.

so when matt linehart won his as a sophomore, he didn't have alot of leadership either?

I'm telling you guys, some of these incoming Freshmen are going to kick some butt THIS YEAR!

I got this feeling that this Freshman class is going to make a name for itself early.

:rocks: :rocks: :rocks:

I'm predicting a Sugar Bowl. I don't think a NC is quite within reach this year... But in the next year or two after, for sure.

You know all this trouble MIGHT make Schaeffer and Smith want to work harder
to prove that the whole incident was just a fluke. Like someone said, WE don't know the whole story and they could be getting a bum rap. I started shooting my mouth off before I thought it through.

Which, you all know, is fairly common with me.

Who knows? The UT police might have a thing against football players.

Fulmer made Riggs clean the steam room for a while when he overslept. Just imagine what he is going to make these two do. Talk about work....

The kids who are indirectly responsible for their income? I doubt it.

we have a 5th year senior that can run the offence and he has alot of
skill around him d-line will be one of the best in sec linebackers are solid
secondary will be improved but will still get victomized some.
sure hope another running back or two steps up. i dont think we will ever
get 100% out of riggs. i look for the o-line to get alot of pressure up the
middle this year.special teams haven't been around the past few years.
as far as coverage and return units.and Discipline is still an issue.

well with all that said this team can go far just how far is up to them
seccg is within reach. but its starting to look like 9-2 or 8-3 season.
