I'm dyin for some football. It's gonna be really interesting to see how they shape the offense.. With worleys experience in a throwing spread system(and mastery in it in hs) and the staffs familiarity with Petermans game already, it should be interesting..

And u know we have some wr's that are chomping at the bit to get on the field and make plays.. I'm sure a lot of them are glad to see dr, cp, jh, and zr go so they get pt.

Our defense can't go anywhere but up,, and I think it could turn out to be one of our strengths this year.

Love that last line. "This power T means everything to us." As far as I'm concerned, if Butch and the staff coach like they talk and recruit, this ought to be a hell of a football team. I suspect we will have a very disciplined football team, not a lot of penalties, and not a lot of mistakes. I don't meant that we're GOING to beat people, because I still think we're kinda low in SEC terms in talent right now, just because it's young, raw talent. I think we will sneak up on teams this year playing solid, fundamental football.

This is just my opinion based on what I've heard Butch and Co. say in interviews. He speaks highly of the staff, and that's a great thing.

I like the way Coach Jones and Company talk . Cannot wait to see if this , Intensity , shows up on the field .

That "Power T" means everything to us too and I truly hope we have a really good football season this year. I know it may not be this year, but I am looking forward to the day we smack Florida in the mouth. I have seen the videos where it has happened in the past but I want to see it for myself in person. GO VOLS!!!!

All we need is one good season to really get us back in the thick of the elite recruiting battles with ua, uf, uga etc. these elite recruits are begging us to show some promise, but we haven't delivered on the field recently..We have everything else they want now.

Win this season, and the elite guys that come aboard will set us up for years to come.

I'm so tired of the "We are Tennessee" thing! Someone PLEASE give the "We are......" back to Marshall and find something original!

I was only a very young man when Doug Dickey came in and brought the Vols back to life; I felt great about his doing that before he ever coached a game at TN...I have that same feeling this year that I haven't had since Dickey...Butch is going to bring a revival to Vol Ball that will be just as profound...A whole ton of folks are going to be shocked out of their minds...Just wait and see!!!!

Good posts. With our facilities, and resources, that is all the elite guys are waiting on. Progress in the W column.
