Just FYI...

AT&T and Verizon users can take their bill to Sprint and they will match their plan and cut the cost in half. In my case, it would be $83 less per month. They also will give you up to $350 per line to buy out the contract. Unfortunately for me, I just got the new iphone, so $350 doesn't cover the cost for me. You have to turn in your phone and get a new one.

Just thought I would pass it along...GO VOLS!

There is that...lol. I'm not doing it because just got 2 new iphones so $350 wouldn't cover the cost per line.

The "deal" is also only good for a year before their regular pricing structure takes over.

So after researching about this. Everything the op said is true, but here's the catches: You have to give them whatever phones you have currently for no trade in value, then you have to get New phones through them which are added to the bill like At&t Next, or do 2yr contracts which adds $25 per line. After all of that you'll probably be right at what your paying anyways for mediocre service.

My buddy went and looked into it. You do have to turn your phone in. You can the buy a new phone, do the 2 yr contract deal, their version of next or the lease deal of $20 a month. The half price is good for as long as you have the account and not just a year like someone else mentioned. If I was an individual account wanting a new phone, I would absolutely look into it.

I'm basing what I said on the fine print of the TV commercials. I didn't just pull that 1 year thing out of my nether region.

Wife signed up with them back in the summer.

Bill was suppose to be 65 per month as I bought the phone on the spot and paid cash for the entire phone up front.

The bill has NOT ONCE been 65 since we started and every month we call and complain and every month they say they will fix it.

It comes in 70 one month then they credit and it comes in 56 then it goes to 89 then back to 65.

WE are switching her to another carrier. I have been with T-Mobile since I was a teenager and never once have I had a problem.

Odd. Mine's the same every month, but the price I pay is inflated by "fees." It doesn't help that I dropped my phone the night before my birthday and smashed it, forcing me to go get a new one and I'm now paying for it monthly. However, I have been with Sprint for 8 years or so. I would change to Verizon, but they wouldn't let me on without a big deposit that last time I tried.
