I'm glad he did. I can't hate him anymore. I'm too busy wishing some miracle would land him in PF's job.

"But on a night when Tennessee great Peyton Manning was in attendance to have his No. 16 retired, the Vols (3-4, 2-4) continued their offensive struggles even against one of the worst defenses in the SEC.

Spurrier, not wearing his trademark visor, improved his record against Tennessee to 10-5, which includes a victory as Duke's head coach. It was his first visit to Neyland Stadium since 2000"

Spurrier owns UT (& Fulmer) :mf_surrender:

I'm feeling the same way. While I used to hate Spurrier, I respect that he usually gets the most out of his players - something our staff absolutely can not do.

Spurrier could take our players and deliver an SEC title game appearance in his first or second year.

Absolutely correct. Having previously lived in SC, I am familiar with the past woes of the 'Cocks. However if there is one man who can turn that around, it's Spurrier. Look for future improvements in this team.
BTW, I picked UT to win by 17. But I must admit that if I sold everything I own, took my life savings and went to Vegas, I'd be broke before sunup. That's why I don't gamble.

Picking us to SCORE 17 points in a game is a stretch. To win by 17 is unthinkable. :disappointed:
