I heard today that Spurrier was asked to comment on how some had picked Urban Meyer as one of the top coaches in the SEC. Spurrier replied with his usual sarcastic tone something like -- Yeah, those 4 years he has been a head coach have really been something.

It's going to be interesting to watch Spurrier play games with UF and how the Gator fans are going to like getting a taste of the ole ball coach from the other side of the fence.

Cant speak but for myself but I look forward to it. While I respect what he did for the GatorNation, he is now the enemy now and I hope to lay 50 on them! :dlol: BTW saw this pic on a Gator board and had to share..

It's fun to see that ol' steve has already shaken off the humbling experience the NFL had to offer.

Despite him being an azz of epic porportions, it's kinda nice to have him around. It's gonna even better when he starts his QB carousel. :dlol:

Steve-O's been a little bold considering how bare the cupboard is in Columbia.

But then again, he's always been better at running his mouth than running the football.

I agree,

It's gonna be fun.

But, what IF (big if) the Cocks beat Myer this year?

Wow! Can you imagine the buzz coming from down South? It'll be like one of those Hurricane parties, except in reverse. They'll fire up fireurbanmeyer.com so fast it will make your head swim. Fortunately it comes near the end of the season. Maybe the Gators will have done enough by then that an upset wouldn't be too damaging. I just have a feeling that you guys can lose to anyone on your schedule this year except Steve's guys. If that were to happen I have to think the Spurrier camp would be hot after Foley.

Good luck,
