I haven't really seen Nick Diaz's Strikeforce fights so I don't know what to expect. Don't really recognize any of his opponents either. Paul Daley, Frank Shamrock, Sean Sherk and Diego Sanchez are about it.

Should be interesting for sure. Speaking of which, there is already another PPV on the 11th. Carwin vs. Dos Santos. Can't wait!

Diaz is easily as good a boxer if not better than St. Pierre and his JJ is top notch. It should be an excellant match up.

Nick Diaz was in the UFC for a while, didn't think he was that impressive. His younger brother won the ultimate fighter at 155 but seems like a real tool. I think they both are punks from Stockton, CA. GSP will beat him easily IMO.

i saw several of Diaz's UFC fights of past years and he is def scrappy, and could pull a Serra but unless he has improved since i saw him, then i have to side with oklavol and NEOCON. GSPwill destroy him. this fight, to me, has the look of Penn vs Sanchez. looks good on paper, but will not in the octagon.

Before Diaz went to Strikeforce, it seemed like everyone in the UFC was tuning him up. I don't really have high expectations for this fight...

...and after checking his record, he lost 3 of his last 5 UFC fights (and the 3 guys who beat him are UFC has beens). He's 12-1 since leaving the UFC, but I'm not sure what that means since I don't know how good Strikeforce fighters are.

gsp is a beast. i guess there is a slight chance he could overlook diaz. that's about the only chance i can see of this fight not ending badly for nick.

It'll be a typical, boring GSP fight. Roll around on top of the guy for 5 rounds and win the decision. Wouldn't waste my money.
