Winchester quit making guns in New Haven back in '06 (IIRC) and now makes them in Columbia, SC.

I think that Winchester plant has been in Columbia for awhile (at least 20 years or so... maybe more). They probably just expanded production at the facility or did they build a new one down there?

Unless I'm badly mistaken USRA closed the New Haven plant outright. Winchester's been owned by Herstal (Belgian) since the 80's. FN (which Herstal owns) is who is making Winchesters in SC.
