The Charlie Strong situation at TX gets all the national media attention, but remember he is only in year 3. This is year 7 for Kelly at ND. Have to think the natives are ready for a change.

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly might be the biggest hothead in college football. After the Irish lost at home to Stanford Saturday night, the head coach was at it again, getting into it with a Stanford strength and conditioning coach.
What’s pathetic here is that Kelly continues to lash out at everyone around him while failing to take responsibility for his own actions.
Notre Dame, which started the season No. 10 on the AP preseason poll, is now unranked and irrelevant after falling to 2-5 on the season.

Earlier this year he blamed the players for failing to execute, saying coaching had nothing to do with Notre Dame’s loss to Duke (more on that here).
He then fired his defensive coordinator the very next day.
Then last week he blamed his center for poor exchanges while continually calling passing plays in the middle of a hurricane.
Now he’s verbally sparring with an opposing coach at the end of yet another loss? It’s so completely unacceptable.
Kelly probably won’t lose his job. He makes too much money. But he deserves to be fired. And the Fighting Irish sure as heck deserve better than they’re getting from him.

He will get fired -- the ND boosters are probably the wealthiest in CFB -- how much money did they pay Fat Charlie to go away ? Kelly will be no different

The way he has represented them I'd rufie his ass and take pictures of him with hookers and fire him for cause. What an absolute douche bag the way he has acted over the last few weeks.

My in laws are huge ND fans, father-n-law and brother n law both graduated from there.... not very happy

Last few weeks? Hes always was a POS. He's responsible for the dude who fell 60 feet to his death.

I know his rep. However the "last few weeks" have been continually in the public domain as their fall from grace at preseason top 10 was highly touted. And we all have had a recent refresher of him. That's all I was trying to say.

Kelly will get fired and Notre Dame will be, you guessed it, pre-season top 10 next year. They are just one of those media darling teams like Florida State. On another note, it absolutely blows my mind that Ole Miss is 3-3 and is still ranked 23. I'm dumbfounded.
