Yeah, the one thing I did like about this pro combat stuff was the flat helmet paint, but those look terrible.

Is Nike just going to give flat black helmets to everyone? Pretty sure Oregon, Virginia Tech, TCU, Arizona State and now Stanford all have them. Three teams in the PAC 12... really? Arizona State and Stanford never even wore black. Flat black helmets for everyone in the PAC 12! UCLA and USC with black helmets would be sweet!!

I'd keep it simple by making the two stripes on the pants checkerboard. The sleeves under the jersey checkerboard. Maybe make the numbers on the jersey and the stripe on the helmet checkerboard. The backhand of the gloves checkerboard with the palm of the gloves white. When you put them together, an Orange Power T.

Yeah, that is. A little different in my head. I still would have left two stripes on the pants and that kind of looks more like a fence than a checker board. They need to put boarders on them. And I wouldn't put it on the sleeve like that.





The yellow sleeves are what I'd make checkerboard and that's what I mean by having a boarders around the stripes and numbers. That way it actually looks like checkerboards. Other wise the white blocks would connect with the pants and it wouldn't even look like checkerboard. Outline the stripes on the pants, the stripe on the helmet and the numbers on the jersey with a lighter orange. I suppose black outline would work... that would make certain people happy.
