Based on what I have seen thusfar in this game, Stanford is very overrated(which we prettymuch already knew outside of the USC game). H ope Washington can somehow come through this with a W.

Everything Stanford has done, outside of winning that one game against USC at home(which was very impressive even with the OL injuries to USC), has been lackluster so far this year. Their D has been good, their O has been anemic(putting it nicely). They escaped San Jose St in week 1 20-17 at home. Washington has dominated them defensively outside of 2 major blown coverages for long completions. Washington is a mid 40s defense...
In looking at those ranked below them(and what I've seen so far), Florida would beat them by 3 TDs. I think they are a #20-25 team.
FWIW, the team I follow is also overrated based on what I have seen thusfar.
:yikes:
As soon as Palmer started trying to compare Stanford's front 7 to the elite of the SEC, Washington breaks a long one for the TD. Pollack was having no part of that one! opcorn:
That is why you don't rush 7... Literally only had to beat the two safeties

He had absolutely nothing to work with on D, an atrocious secondary coach, 1 year with an athletic trainer running his DL, and facing a lot of overpowering SEC offenses.
