star ratings and how they transpire to the NFL?

the other day, perhaps yesterday, I came across a post in a thread that had a breakdown of star ratings coming out of high school, and the percentage of which made it to the NFL. does anyone remember which thread that was under? or could link it for me? I thought it was interesting.

star ratings don't matter a whole lot.
it is really all about player evaluation and not just on attributes of the game but character. football is a team sport.

I know Mark Sanchez was the no. 1 QB in HS and he looked great today, and if he hadn't jumped to the NFL he would still be in school.

Your looking at it in the wrong light. One player that is a two star can get drafted in the first round. Look at the college team's success that is loaded with 2 stars. You will not see many are competing for national championships. I'm not saying its bad to sign a lower ranked player, but isn't a master plan for building the core of your team around them.
