Star Wars To Be Released In 3-D.

Didn't read the article, but wonder if they will actually start with Episode 1 or if he sticks with the original starting point at 4.

I'm confused...are they being re-released in theaters or just sold again on well whatever we call dvds that show movies in 3d now?

I can't read the link, but my understanding from what I heard on the radio this morning was theater release.

Also from what I have heard, they are releasing them starting with Ep 1.

I still contend that watching them in the following order is the way to go:

IV, V, VI, I, II, III

My son will be 5 when Episode IV comes out. The perfect storm for my own merchandising hell. Can't wait though.

i've always thought the hate for episode I was a little overblown. alot of people think it's the worst of the saga. that honor goes to episode II IMHO. ROTJ was bad in alot of parts as well, but the end mostly made up for it.

first they digitized and added unnecessary CGI footage to IV, V, and VI and now they're going to further blaspheme the franchise by making it 3D.

this sucks

2. Terrible acting

3. For as much as they pushed the character, Darth Maul didn't really do it for me.

I understand the need for that part of the story in the overall sequence, but I just think it could have been done much better.

What did you not like about 2?

Hayden Christensen is a terrible actor.

the age difference between Padme and Anakin mysteriously disappears. I know he grows up, but why didn't she change at all?

If a bunch of giant, flying insects and an army of droids can kill master Jedi through sheer numbers, one advanced jedi trainee should be no match for a camp full of Tuskan Raiders, regardless of how angry he is at the death of his mother.

The age difference in 3D will blow you away. Give it a try.

Hopefully 3-D will somehow add chemistry between Hayden and Natalie. The whole romance scenes between these two are awful.

i like all of the star wars movies, but II was probably my least favorite. to answer your question, though........hayden christensen as an angsty anakin skywalker. alot of lucas's dialogue is pretty bad by itself anyway but sometimes i think that anakin could have maybe been cast better. plus the sappy dialogue between him and padme was just awful for pretty much all of the movie.

Crap! I just realized I'm going to have the same issue. If this coincides with a Cars sequel, I may have to take out a second mortgage.

His reviews are quite funny, his Episode 2 review is awesome. He hasn't gotten to Episode 3 yet.

He also destroyed a lot of the Star Trek movies and Avatar too.
