As have I, but that 3rd episode was pretty good. I love the Shade from the James Robinson "Starman" and it looks like they are using that version. An immortal, OP version, who is best friends with Starman and not really straight out evil villain, kinda an anti-hero. He is friends with Oliver Queen, Green Arrow, too. Now, don't piss him off, he will still kill u, but u gotta be evil or a Ludlow. Anyway, my favorite episode, like the Johnny Thunder and Wildcat cameos in the cold open. Thunderbolt was cgi, but not bad for a CW show or is it on HBO max show, too ?Really enjoyed the first 2 episodes of the new season.
He was going to cast his own daughter? How did she die?
No, The character Courtney Whitmore that Geoff Johns created for DC Comics & debuted in Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E #0 in 1999 and first appeared as Stargirl in JSA: All Stars #4 in 2004.
Her name "Courtney" along with her appearance & personality was modeled after his younger sister Courtney Elizabeth Johns who died in the TWA Flight 800 crash in 1996.
