Does anybody besides me think that Ainge won't be back in time for Arkansas. To me, it looks like he re-aggravated that ankle pretty bad. He was on crutches at the end of the game. That being said, I think Crompton will get the start next week.

I am more concerned with the health of Marvin Mitchell and Jarrod Mayo at this point. UT will put points on the board if Crompton plays next week.

We could really use Coker in the game next week also. He could add a whole bunch to the running game. Foster has seemed really hesitant this year hitting the hole.

They said he'd be back to play Arkansas so lets hope that is the case!

Foster should have been a little more hesitant hitting the pitchers of beer. Ainge should sit for a couple of weeks and get his ankles 100%, let Crompton take every snap in practice. He brings another dimension to the table in the fact that he can run. Let's hope Coker is healthy, otherwise we have Hardesty, Yancey, and Williams at RB, along with an inexperienced QB making his first start on the road, at night, in the Nutt House.

Anybody got an update on McFadden? I don't wish injuries on any other team or player, but if he has a high ankle sprain, it will be a HUGE help to us.

I must have missed this since I was having to flip back and forth to the Ohio State game as well... but what happened to Mitchell in the game yesterday? I saw Mayo go down and walk off the field, but what happened to MM and when?

Karl looked to have put his helmet or shoulder pads into Mitchell's ribs while they were both trying to tackle somebody..

think he'll probably be ready to go against us.
(not that it really matters since we can't seem to stop ANY running back this year anyway...)

I am glad you guys are so confident in Cromp. Dont get me wrong the kid is specail but he is still a freshman and lets not kid ourselves he threw a buch of passes against LSU that could have easily been INT's

Going on the road in the SEC at night is never easy and we have no running game.

I just hope Coker is back. He will make the Ark D play honest.

Personally I am a little nervous about which ever QB you guys start. That Crompton kid put them on the money...if your recievers wouldn't have had some dropped balls you win easily. I loved that hit when Crompton lowered his shoulder and ran over that DB. It was awesome.

Funny stuff. We are scared of your pass offense, you are scared of our Run offense, nottoo much balance of the 2 is there.

EA needs to sit until he is fully recovered. Playing on sprained ankles just keeps agravating the injury. If he keeps playing, practice or games he will not be effective the rest of the season. I'm sure he pushes himself for multiple reasons. They include wanting to help the team, being a competitor , and last but not least - Losing his starting job to JC. But, he has to help himself and the team by staying off his feet and getting healthy. JC will make mistakes and have freshman moments, but he will be fine. He may not be the passer that EA is but, by far he is the better runner. That extra dimension helps tremendously.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I get a little nervous when I think about the fact that this will be Crompton's first road game.

As I recall, we held Bama to less than 60 yards on the ground.

No word yet, Rumors are that it is not a high ankle sprain but maybe a bruised shin.

I read in the paper that Ainge reaggravated his ankle and that he may have hurt his other ankle in the process.
