If a qb has good anticipation and the patience to dump to the outlet w/ some accuracy then he doesn't need wheels. Worley ran a spread in high school & reminds me of Phillip Rivers in his highlights. Hope he turns out that way. GBOHe may think that but he really doesn't fit CBJ criteria for a QB in his offence. He may be disappointed.
I have a friend who is a UT player's roomie. He said a lot of players like woorley more than bray anyway. I hope they like peterman just as much.
I've heard the same.. Worley gets a lot more respect from his team than he does this message board.. He could've been our best qb last year.
Ill tell u what I think will happen.. We will run a west coast type of spread offense with Worley throwing a lot of short stuff and trying to get his playmakers in space.. A lot of crossing routes/hitches stuff like that to go along with a good running game, thanks to our stacked line.. We will score points next year.
Boy some of you just don't get it, attitude only takes you so far. The offensive production that you guys don't give a rip about losing produced about 99% of our offensive numbers and many records will be missed. About the time we play Fl. you will be praying to have Bray's production. The rest of the fanbase just lives in a fantasy world. You know the one's that thought we would win the East or 9 games this year.
I've heard high regards of both Peterman and Worley. I have had friends who have took classes with both of them. They always told me that Worley and Peterman were both very smart and helped the other players out and seemed to all really get along well. I think next year it'll be a surprise of how much better we play when we have a tenacious coach and for once in a long time players full of heart.
Attitude alone doesn't take you anywhere. It will only prevent you from getting there!
The offensive production that you worship didn't do $hit against Florida last year! Maybe a better attitude would have made a difference. Even skills alone won't carry you in the skill oriented NFL. There is a long list of players with great skills but limited careers. There is a longer list of players with limited skills combined with great attitudes that have great careers.
I believe the fantasy world is a fantasy league where everything is individual statistics. In the real world, wins and losses count as a team.
Worley is a better QB than Munchie Legaux or Zach Collaros. Not a better runner, but a better QB. We don't have a runningback so maybe Peterman will start to make the offense more balanced :dunno:
