I just bought another vehicle and they asked me if I would be interested in a Drive Safe Discount thing, that I attach to my car

supposedly it can save me anywhere from 5% to 50% on my bill,I asked if it could track me :) and they said no

supposedly it is free for the first year and then 7 bucks a month after that

they did say I could turn it off,for free if I didn't like it

I don't put a lot of mileage on a vehicle, I had my Truck for 15 years and put around 90k miles on it

I pay my bill semi annually,so any savings will take a while to see

I was wondering if anybody has tried it and is it worth it ?

does it save any money ? that is what I want to know :)

I actually don't like to drive anywhere any more volinbham

that is why the miles are so low from my truck

If you dont rack up miles then its worth a shot --- they just want to track people that claim they drive say 10k miles a year but actually drive 15k or more - then they jack up their rates

hmmm and then they want to charge me 7 bucks a month for it ? I'm sure i would forget about and then they will tag me for 42 bucks, before I noticed the charge

I was offered and didnt go for it - why should they know where I go and I am not paying a fee for them to monitor my whereabouts -- I would say dont waste the money (wasnt aware they were charging for it)

Not true.

Actually most of it is true except where you have 10K it's actually 7500.
