Last week we became the first SEC team to give up 38 points in 6 consecutive games, that streak goes to 7 games after Vandy scored 41.

In 2007, our previous worst defense gave up 344 points in 12 regular season games(28.7 pt/gm) and 382 points for the entire 14 game season(27.3 pt/gm). In 2012 we have now given up 411 points in 11 games(37.4 pt/gm), meaning this season we are giving up 10.1 points/gm more than our worst defense ever.

The good news? Through 10 games we only had one defensive stop in the red zone, ranking 120th nationally. Against Vandy we had two red zone stops moving us up to 116th nationally

Bama's worst defense gave up 333 points in 13 games in 2003 (25.6). That is the only time they given up 300+ in a season.
