InB4 first post that Auburn gave up 17 points to Arkansas so now we gonna whip dey azz.

But in a ll seriousness, I was surprised how Missouri manhandled both sides of the Line. I know when we got down by double digits their DE's were bringing it hard every play.

I thank Jacques Smith, Marlon Walls, and Corey Miller for being a Vol but I think with the next class that we have committed our Dline will get a lot better.

Same with our LB's we have some liabilities in that position not much speed or talent but if we can keep our LB commits we will also be very improved at that position.

With all the WR's on scholarship, I am very surprised we can only find a couple of play makers and everyone on VN keeps asking why we are recruiting so many WR's. We may only have 2 or 3 WR's that can play on this level.

Our secondary is not very good we may see 3 new starters next year when the new class gets here.

I do think we will see a much better team next week, at home this team plays very hard and steps it up another level.

I have been led to believe Randolph and Sutton are very Good... Seems like EB14 was a Million years ago. We prolly have more DBs on Scholly, thanany other school in the Country...WTF is going on back there ?

Because they are. Notice how teams throw towards the opposite side of the field.

This statement concerns me a little because these guys were all highly regarded 4* by the major services...I realize they have been underdeveloped, and I'm not implying anything about our current commitments either (can't wait for them to get here). More of a comment on cliche of how stars aren't everything.

Coleman had probably the worst game of his career. He had multiple missed tackles, was responsible for the busted coverage where the kid was wide open in the end zone, and was picked on all night. Sutton didn't play great but he did his part by and large. Getting depth at corner and nickel is a big need moving forward. Luckily the class coming in might have answers though I hate relying on young freshmen every year.

Aj has good tackling technique. He wraps up well most of the time, but really needs to get better in space with his coverage and not getting blocked. Sapp and brewer I appreciate but the incoming linebacker class makes me less concerned over their loss.

The d line is a work in progress IMO. The younger players like vereen and o Brien really got me hopeful. Walls will be missed but im not crying over McCullers, smith, or Miller graduating. Again thanks for being vols but time to move on.

Offense is different entirely. Everyone is coming back. Ya the "amazing" o line will be gone. But do I really care? I think a line with Blair, kerbyson, Jackson, crowder, and wiesman starting will only have a slight dropoff in production compared to our all stars this year.

Qbs, wrs, rbs, and tes all should feature familiar faces moving forward with the chance for new talent to spell relief or win the job. More how it should be. If you are that good you win playing time young, but we aren't going to rely on that.

Anyhow just my thoughts on the near future. Go vols! Never say die even as a fan.
