wow. the first person on the list seems to be a UT commitment that kiffin is pursueing... so much for that promise.

Ambles should realize he'll be the 3rd option at WR if he goes to SC behind Prater and Woods...Tennessee, despite the coach, is the better of the 2 options

It seems like they are slightly off. Miller is on campus as well as many others. They can't leave now...

Orgeron must have helped him write that report. If they were on campus as of 12:01 the day of class, they are here to stay unless they sit for a year.

That's actually not what ESPN is reporting. I know that Hamilton told the recruits that, but it may have been damage control. ESPN (FWIW) said that they had to physically be in a classroom with a teacher teaching.

Not sure what the actual rule is but there are conflicting statements about it.

I guess only time will tell.

ESPN is the only place saying that and they don't deal with compliance/eligibility issues every day. I'm taking MH's word (and others) over anything ESPN says about recruiting

ESPN is also saying that Willis was rethining his commitment when earlier today he said he was committed to being a Vol. ESPN is as inflamatory as the jerkwad from the NY Times who penned the story about hostessgate.

We got a royal screw job from Lane' all these kids are going to scatter like flies. I just hope wherever they go they realize the guy they wanted to play for was a fraud.

I have mixed feelings about not releasing these kids. They may be all we have, so I can understand Hamilton's drive....but what's right is right. How do we make up numbers with the SEC's signing rules if we only sign 15 or so kids this year?

We don't, we got left with our pants down.

Yep, we're going to be feeling this one for several years. Someone said it best in another thread: fulmer left us staggering, Kiffin delivered the knock-out blow.

I can't understand how any NFL-aspiring WR would jump ship on UT. We have the best WR coach on the planet as interim coach. Clue in. Kippy has coached more pro-bowl WR's than Lane Kiffin has ever met.

According to some stuff on TOS, we're still expecting visits this weekend from:

Eddrick Lofton
J.C. Copeland
Marques Dixon
Markeith Ambles
Ralph Williams

There is speculation that Alabama and USC are in the mix with Ambles and no one knows if he's going to come or not, and that Corey Nelson had an OV setup this weekend but hasn't confirmed his plans. OL Damien Robinson and Shon Coleman are not expected to visit anymore.
