I've been on the fence whether or not I want these guys to leave or not. Don't get me wrong I'm tired of seeing Tebow run and throw all over us, but I'm not sure if I want him and Stafford to leave for the NFL. Next year will be a rebuilding year for UT, therefore it may be better for UGA and Fla. to keep their young QB's on the sideline rather than giving them valuable experience and beating us all at the same time. On the other hand it might be good if they leave, therefore we might actually have a chance to win these games and give us some great momentum, but I don't see us beating Fla. with or with out the Tebow. Hopefully we can land Carroll, Brown, and Stokes which will help our QB's in the process. And then go out and kick butt next yr. It doesn't hurt dream.

Well Stafford is going and I really believe Timmy will stay one more year.

I'd be willing to let Stafford stay at UGA with 10 more years of eligibility if it meant Tebow would leave. Hell, I'd offer that to Stafford even if Tebow did not leave.

Expect Tebow back for the following reasons:
1. Getting a diploma is important to him
2. He Loves being a Gator
3. Defending the championship
4. Getting another Heisman

for tebow to come back than i truly believe it was so he could toot his own horn for another year. granted i see the argument for wanting to win another heisman and defend a title, but there should be more to coming back and risking draft position or injury than trying to get more hardware. he is already a gator legend and will be for a long time. what more is there to achieve besides personal gain? that is just my take. from what i have heard he has already done enough to graduate, or will be close soon. if the nfl comes back and tells him he needs to play another position to succeed at the next level, will he come back and work on his passing game for another season or become a fullback or some other position? doesn't the rookie cap come in to play after next season and if so does he risk a chance for a big money deal to come back? too early to tell but all good points to consider. i hope stafford turns into the next brody croyle and is a big bust.

Goddell has already stated that he does not anticipate the CBA amendments to include a rookie salary cap. Such a man's word is his bond... and I got a bridge to sell you.

ok i have not heard that, but if money is something he is looking for than does that still factor into tebow's decision? if i was told by the nfl that my best shot would be go now, than i would certainly lean towards the nfl. thats just me especially if i could graduate early or take a few classes i nthe offseason like vince young just did. what more does he have to prove or does urban need to cut the cord already and quit mouth feeding the kid?

Tebow will not go pro... at best he is a 3rd or 4th rounder right now. His only prayer to even be drafted as a QB (instead of an HB) is to stay another year and prove that he can be a stand up, pro style, pocket passer.

i can agree with that as well, and the fact that he can get just about any woman on campus.

Tebow isn't going anywhere, He won't be a big pro prospect so he's really got nothing to lose by coming back...He took ONE snap under center all year....ONE, against Hawaii...Not quite what the pro's would be drooling over...But he's one hell of a player and a great person...but damn I'm sick of watching him

Florida isn't going to change their offense next year. He will not take snaps under center or run a pro style offense. He can only hurt his draft status by coming back. All that being said, I think he comes back.

Exactly right, all the draft guru's(take that for what its worth) say he is drafted on the 2nd day, and probably as a H-back, hybrid. Also, CUM has won a national championship with C. Leak using more of a drop back system. If he wants to tweak the offense for Tebow, he certainly has shown he can do that.

Im not trying to say that somehow next year CUM introduces a brand new pocket passing version of The Tebow (if he stays).

this may also be the reason he goes... im torn.

What would you rather do, stay at Fla, and be king of the mountain, or be drafted sowewhere in the 4th round of the NFL, possibly having to learn a new position, to be a specialty player.

Tebow already graduated! Plus if he went pro he could afford to go cicumsize all kinds of philapino boys and espn can run the special all the time like they do now
