Any of these openings giving this guy a look? He was successful other than the drinking himself out of a job. Looks like he has it together enough to make it with Saban. Why would Arkansas or Missouri not go after the a guy.

But someone will eventually give him another shot. would you agree? Might as well be Arkansas.

It's going to be a loooooonnnnnnnggggg time before somebody gives Sark another shot as a HC. The Falcons were pretty putrid on that side of the ball last year and Alabama hasn't really proved anything this year except they need Tua.

Maybe in 5 years a non P5 school takes a chance on him but he is going to have to prove a great deal more than he has this year and be absolutely clean as a whistle off the field

Alabama proved they need a defense. Offense was extremley explosive no matter who was QB. Can't disagree about stint at Falcons.

He'll need to make a stop in the MAC or somewhere first before a P5 school takes a chance

Needs a few dry preseason events before you place your program’s future in his passenger seat.

Mississippi State is going to interview him for their vacant football head coaching job. If he's hired they better put a minder with him to make sure he stays sober!

His HC record is 46-35. His best season was 9-4 in 7 years, both gigs with major PAC 12 programs. It took him 5 years to build Washington into an 8-4 juggernaut. Butch Jones laughs at Sark's resume, and he can't get an HC position. I think Sark's a great OC but I don't think he's an HC.

Little known fun fact, Sark set the BYU record for passing yards in a game against his future team (Washington).

Am I off base in saying that a lot of what the dug up on Sark seemed like overkill?

Hear me out on this - him showing up drunk to work is probably evidence that he did/does have some kind of problem. Can't fault USC for firing him. However, a lot of the info that came out after that (e.g., $750 bar tabs where he was there with dozens of other people)...I mean, you can make a ton of people look like alcoholics if you did that. Certainly could make me look like one if you found receipts of mine from work events.

I don't think he's recovered because he never admitted he's an alcoholic which is the biggest step to recovery

And how do you know that? Seems odd that he wouldn't admit the fact that he's an alcoholic when he's been in treatment for alcoholism for the past few years.
