This is a team loaded with 9 seniors and all four of their major wins have come at the Garden, but you gotta believe if Lavin can get St John's into the Big Dance, no one would want to play them.

Hat, how quickly will Lavin be able to build off this success? If you can get the winning attitude back, it shouldn't be hard to recruit some quality players to play in Queens with the opportunity to play in the Garden ten times a year or more, right?

They destroyed Duke and beat UConn pretty handedly. Pretty impressive job so far by Lavin

They have surprised me this year. And Lavin has 6 top 100 recruits signed for next year.

Between Lavin and don't forget Gene Keady is there also they have alot of good coaching. This team is going to be unreal next season with the class they have coming in...Lavin is my national COY right now.

This is the same team that lost to Fordham. They are merely decent. He's got a good class coming in, but you don't win with freshmen in the Big East. Lavin will set the table for the next coach there. He's not good enough to survive in that league.

They are up 16-4 against Villanova and it's only 4:20 into game. Crazy.

No doubt. Just not used to seeing teams score 16 points in the span of 4 minutes. Must be a pretty fast paced game.

St. John's had some good teams when Malik Sealy was there. It's good to see them playing at a higher level again.

Fun fact: St John's seniors have never won wearing the black uniforms.

And they're losing to USF at the half.
