Steve Lavin diagnosed with cancer

St John's head coach Steve Lavin has been diagnosed with an early stage of prostate cancer, per ESPN.

I hope to see him have a speedy recovery. He's a great coach, and one of my favorites.

That stinks but prostate cancer is usually localized and treatable if detected early. Hopefully he will make a full recovery.
