According to 24/7 Tom Herman is the leading candidate.. them damn gamecocks mite get a decent replacement.

Oh noes!!! They are going to hire a coach that is 100x better than Spurrier and will domnate the East from now on.

Job description should clarify that the new Head Ball Coach must coach all 12 games on the schedule. If you choose to retire it's properly done before or after the season. Anything less is considered quitting.

He might be their leading candidate but are they his leading candidate?

He would be a fool to not consider the South Carolina job. If is a big step up. He is making 1.35 million at Houston. SC could easily double that and move Herman into coaching in a big time conference. SC is a pretty good job.

All true but I think the point was that he would have many other opportunities
