Despite the disappointing loss the other night there is still alot to play for such as a 10 win season which we haven’t had since 2007 and a 6-2 SEC record also not since 2007. A win against Vandy also might get us a New Year 6 bowl game which it’s also been awhile since we have been to one of the major bowl games. So alot is riding on the Vandy game and there is still alot to play for maybe not a playoff berth but still some accomplishments not seen around here in a long time.

Saturday's game is huge. As we saw last year, anything can happen in bowl games. Imagine how deflating it would be to lose 4 of your last 5.

It would be very difficult to come back from that. Really need to beat Vandy soundly and hope we don’t have too many opt outs for the bowl game.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but the vandy game scares me now. If our defensive plays like they did against SC they will beat us and I don’t care how bad they are. Also Milton at qb will be a question mark. I think he can do great things…I even think he could be in the running for the heisman next year…but he has some things to improve on

If we finish 9-4 that would be extremely disappointing considering we started 8-0, oddly enough I predicted 9-4 in the preseason 8-4 in the regular season and we win the bowl game and I think back in August most of us would’ve been pleased with that but we wouldn’t be now.

Vandy gaining confidence and has a bowl appearance on the line (which two weeks ago looked impossible). They will play with their hair on fire! Vols better get their mojo back.

Not to be sour but if they didn't come out ready with a spot in the playoffs on the line, I'm not counting on this bunch for the rest of this season especially without Hooker. Frankly, I'm not sure we're a top 20 team without him.

I think everyone is done. Too much of a letdown. No idea how something like this can happen. I look for opt outs definitely in the bowl, but possibly in the Vandy game. If I'm going to go for NFL, what could I possibly gain in playing in either Vandy game or some meaningless bowl?

I guess we will see Milton and I believe he will play well against Vandy.Vandy has beaten Kentucky and Florida and if we play as bad as we did against USC,Vandy will beat us.Jackson may get in the game if Milton plays bad!Go Vols!!

If our coaches are as solid as I think, Tennessee will regroup and demolish Vandy this weekend. There is no way these players intended the SC result and there is no way they will be comfortable with it. Especially with the loss of the QB, the team should rally around Milton. If the Vols play even an average/acceptable game they should beat Vandy. I just hope that either Milton can dial down his excitement or our receivers can get real tall before Saturday. When Milton plays under control, he is formidable.

A chance to win 11 games and finish in the top 7 is still in play or finish 9-4 and three straight losses and out of the top 25. Losses to Vandy and South Carolina would tarnish this season. How will this team be remembered?

Agree 100 percent I think we beat Vandy 41-20 no way the defense plays that bad again this week. Milton will play well enough for us to win comfortably

Getting that 10th win is definitely a big deal psychologically.

Heupel going from 3-7 to 7-6 to 10-3/11-2 is so mind numbingly crazy considering the defense we had.

It will remain to be seen if Saturday night is just one big royal flop or consistent issue. However, our offense should be good enough to out pace Vandy. I see no scenario where Vandy scores on 90% of their drives.

Finish strong, season still a success, but there better be some dramatic improvements in defense next year or the seat might get warm.....

This will be a test for the team. They can bounce back and win big or stay in the funk where they were Saturday. Losing to Vandy has never been an option for UT.

What would make it disappointing is that two of the losses would be to USCe and Vandy. The record itself would be considered progress.

Coaches that lose to Vandy usually don't last too long around here. What we saw the other night was unacceptable, drop two in a row and the noise starts.

I hope not. It would be very disappointing for sure but we are on the verge of winning 10 games for this first time in years.
Wins over FL, LSU and Bama this year should be enough to keep everyone but the retards silent. At some point you have to win the games you should but the staff gets a pass this year.
