Still very proud

The players didn’t think they were 6-6 material or they wouldn’t performed to the level they had prior to today. Today was embarrassing, completely embarrassing. Today we were on the biggest stage to show what UT football is capable of… and we folded.

The team never folded. Just ran into a program that has had their coach much longer and recruited better. There's no team in college football that would have won down there today.

I'm very proud of this team. They've been so fun to watch. The future is very bright.

As long as they take care of business and go 11-1 I’ll be happy. It’s beyond disappointing to play this badly on this stage, but it happened. How do we respond? Hopefully the right way, take the blood of the last three scrubs we play this year.

We’ll learn from this game and we’re still going to outperform the heck out of any reasonable preseason expectation. The fact that we’re at a point, this fast, where it leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth to not be the number one team in the country any more - in November mind you - speaks volumes. Finish strong.

I’m proud of the season. But I think we definitely could’ve had a better showing tonight. We went from scoring 49 a game to…..what we watched tonight. We’ve exceeded expectations. But I’m still thinking about kicking the dog.

No one...and I mean NO ONE has this team sniffing the top 10 this year, let alone going 11-1.

It's been a season we will all remember and there's still a lot of ball left to play.

Does this team make their stated goal of going to Atlanta? No, but can they still make noise in the CFP? Definitely!!!

Proud of our men and the fight they showed today...GO VOLS!!!

As everyone knows, we were playing with house money this game considering where everyone thought we’d be before the season started. I’m still extremely proud of this team.

We all should be. 11-1 and the Sugar or Orange Bowl would be miles ahead of what this program’s done the last…what, 15-21 years?
