Rumors circulating on vq that jarnell and quentin got into a fight during or after practice which is why stokes wrist was injured and cheivous wasn't on the bench last night. One person even mentioned that he believes stokes was suspended for last nights game. Anyone heard anything?

Stokes definitely wasn't suspended or he woulsnt have been pulled from lineup last minute. It was definitely injury related why he didn't play not punishment. I didn't look for chievous, he wasn't on the bench?

From what I heard Stokes was injured on the hardwood.

I heard that also on VQ, fights happen in practice. It is not rare. I am not saying this is true but it would not surprise me.

My sources are telling me Chievous and Stokes had to fight off Kenny Rogers when he broke in to Pratt Pavilion with a baseball bat and a handle of Jim Beam. That didn't sit well with Martin. Turns out he's a pretty big Kenny Rogers fan. TIFWIW, IDK, IMO, LOL, IIRC, OPC.

Exactly. It was a game time decision. Heck, Jarnell was in his warm ups and did warm up.

Sounds like bull.

Not saying you are OP, just saying that I think this is a false rumor.

If this is true I'm guessing stokes beat his a$$. Sprained wrist no facial marks, and quinton making no public appearance....

Correct. Same thing Brian said last night. He does the live game blog and said Stokes injured his wrist in practice but participated in warm ups. Also, said that he was good to go but they wouldn't use him unless he was needed.

Could have still injured wrist in practice during fight, doesn't eliminate that theory. Just means he definitely wasn't suspended for it if it did happen.

Fight happen sometimes. If there was one, it's over and they will move on. It's part of sports and being competitive sometimes.

interesting. Stuff like this, if true or not, is the type of stuff you rarely hear about. Martin has ran a tight ship so if a fight did happen, he wont address it.
