According to a guy on VQ. Said he tweeted it a few minutes ago. Let's hope the NCAA hurries up and clears him.

Just think if CM had used up that last scholly on a scrub just to get the numbers. What a good deal we are going to get out of this. Looking forward to seeing this kid play.

Are we absolutely certain this is correct?

Some fall sports start before school starts and those kids are eligible as long as they pass the clearinghouse.

The kids who play fall sports are here for the summer and enrolled in summer school. That is why they can play before the fall semester starts. I am pretty sure he has to actually attended class before he can play, I could be wrong though.

I think your right saying he can't play but kids don't have to be in summer school to play in the fall before classes start. I know that for sure. Maybe this gets treated the same way. I would like to know for certain.

Was he asked the question when he would be eligible to play on air today?

Is he practicing?

I can't think of any NCAA rule that would keep him from playing as long as he is cleared by the clearinghouse. I don't see any difference between Stokes and a soccer player that hasn't started classes in the fall but plays in a game. I am likely wrong but I have my doubts he has to wait until classes start.

Well, is next semester your first semester at UT? I always thought it goes by the academic calendar meaning that when classes start athletes become eligible. Didn't Maymon have the same thing too?

Not every fall sport athlete enrolls in summer school. Some do, and some. They report the first of August to start fall camp. When the NCAA rules you eligible you can start practicing with the team.

I think he can practice, but can't start play until classes officially start provided the clearinghouse has given clearance.

hey man nothing personal but I do not want to see the orange dog or the orange pants ever again. Neither worked, We have had back to back losing seasons. The orange dog was goofy from the beginning. If it would have worked, I would have a dozen orange dogs in my yard. But it did not work and it was a goofy idea by Dooley!!!!:loco::loco::loco::loco::loco:

Btw I am 6"5 235 and stokes is massive. I think he is closer to 6"9 and 255

I think Stokes brother has on his hat from the decision and he has on the white one.

Are we still uncertain of when he can play if he is cleared by the clearinghouse?

Looks like Hubbs could get to the bottom of this. Anybody with a VQ sub needs to ask him.
