Asked when he though he'd be ready to play, gave the stock, "That's up to coach" reply.

Said it was the relationship with CCM that swung him our way. Not new news, but good to hear it from his mouth. Looks up to Tobias. Says he likes to bang more than Tobias. Trainer also emphasizes that difference between the two.

"i'm no saviour or anything, I'm a basketball player. (humble, nice).

Trainer compares him to Carmello Anthony. That sort of skill set.

Good bit of chatter about the Memphis fanbase backlash. Got booed at an I-Hop. He takes it in stride. Trainer said somebody in the I-Hop suggested he be given the "LeBron Table."

Said he looks up to Tim Tebow because of his willingness to share his faith. Said Charles Mitchell called to tell him he wants to be a Vol, too. So commit already!!! Caller Tim cautioned him to stay away from message boards. Said there was a time (9th and 10th grade) when he sarted to view message boards and his game suffered, so he no longer reads. He's a Tweeter, not a reader.

He'll wear No. 5. Not the No. 15 he wanted. Man is an astronomical eater. Burns it off with astrnomical training regimen. Trainer says he's a fan of Hall, Maymon, and thinks Skylar McBee has one of the best shots he's seen. He breaks down You Tube videos of the Vols. Trainer raves about his high b-ball IQ and thinks he will help the other individual team members see their stats rise because of him.

Griff jokes about the first time he and Maymon collide in practice.

That's about it. All callers were mostly just welcoming. He'll be at the game tonight.

Yep. The kid is not long winded. Trainer would often say, "J is too humble to say so....", then he would fill in the blanks. Obviously the trainer thinks the world of him (and hopes sometime he will reap some benefits, I imagine).

Does anyone else get the feeling Stokes may stay longer than 1.5 years? For some reason I do.

Referring to LeBron jumping ship in Cleveland. Those who wanted him to stay at home and play see it as a personal slam that he would come to Knoxvile. He said there had been threats. Of what, dunno.

I would assume it means when Lebron is in Cleveland and eating at a restaurant, no one wants to sit near him

Good advice. I hope other players and prospects do the same the way some get trashed on this board.

You guys that follow twitter. Do our BB players have twitter accounts?

Stokes says he is taking a break from twitter and I thought that might be due to CM not allowing players to have twitter. I am ready for DD to do that as well.

Anyone know if he speaks with God on a daily basis or just on days when he is deciding which college to go to? GBO! VFL! BLAH!
