Stokes To De-Commit? Taking a Florida Official Visit

We fired the old coach to hire another one. I don't know about stokes's case but we're going to lose a fair amount of recruits; recruiting seasons under this situation usually fall under the idea of "breaking a few eggs to make an omelette"

I doubt we lose anymore, we may get one back in Giles. If Monte does in fact come with Lane we may actually gain a couple.

From everything I've read, he wants to play in a pro-style offense, not a spread. Seems to me like that would rule out Florida and Michigan but, who knows.

Don't worry. I would take a visit if I were him. I mean visits are fun but he should stay a VOL. He made these arrangements when we didn't have a coach so lets just wait and see.

Stokes said he is visiting Michigan and Florida just to look around. He doesn't know much about Kiffin but will meet with him and find out about his offense and staff. He said he doesn't see himself anywhere but UT. He would like Scott to stay.

Stokes can go anywhere as far as I'm concerned, as long as it isn't UF.

No way...He has to stay a Vol...He is one of the better in this class in my opinion and we have to keep this kid

If I were him I would take an official visit to the University of Hawaii also...weather is beautiful there.
Kiffin will be all over him...UF scares me but he comitted early to the Orange...I think in the end he will stay a Vol

I'd take the visits as well. I'm sure he will have a good time...I say enjoy your trips but stay a Vol

Jer'on seems to be a real good kid with strong morals and a christian faith. I really don't know how CLK compares to Fulmer in these regards, but I know CUM is a arrogant weasel and has no morals. Plus, they run the spread so I am not not too concerned.

Mark Jones played ball at Tampa Bay after college under Monte Kiffin. Mark Jones and Stokes are really good friends so I think Stokes is a vol in the end.

I feel really good about Stokes. He has a WHOLE LOT of upside. CLK needs to be in his ear right now and restoring confidence that the program is going nowhere but up.

They just said on 104.5 that Kiffin had an extensive conversation with Stokes today via phone and is going to his house to visit.

Kiffin is loving these in house visits!!! That also can't hurt since Stokes' brother is going to be a decent recruit next year.. kind of a get two birds with one stone type of trip.

Hope we keep him. If we can get him and Brown, get a good OC, and both live up to at least their early analysis, we could have a good possession and speed combo at the wideouts

I love this kid! I was pumped when we got him. I think he will end up being better than Marlon Brown. Just a hunch but I would love to see us get back to WR U again
