RHCP pre-Frusciante

Nothing against him, he's an excellent guitarist, I just liked their style a lot more before he joined.

STP. I like Weiland's voice and the band in general has a heavier feel. You feel like a BA when you listen to it. I believe he is a Fighting Irish fan.

Agreed but blood sugar is a great album. My favorite is uplift mofo party plan

Tough one.

It's really close but I'm gonna go with Chili Peppers.

Weird that the people picking Chili Peppers think it's close and most of the STP fans are saying it's not even close. smh

It's really tough to compare a San Diego grunge/oldschool style rock band to a funk/pop/metal band.

STP was better when Weiland was an addict, as it goes with most rock stars.

RHCP was better when Flea was a pure thumper and Navarro was in the band. (Bloodsugarsexmagik owns!)

STP for me, but the Peppers can still bring it.

I saw STP in Nashville last year, in a concert I never thought I'd see for 1) they broke up and I never thought they'd get back together and 2) I was for sure SW would be dead by now. In the end, it was an awesome concert I waited almost 20 years for.
