I tend to agree, but I heard Jim Boeheim this morning make a pretty good point. He agreed that it was silly to storm the court, but is it really the worst thing in the world to have happen as long as nobody gets hurt?

I think it's ok and it's good for the fans but to storm the court, (under some circumstances) but when you don't beat a top 10 team like the 'Cuse last night and still storm the court seems ridiculous and last time I checked Syracuse in my opnion should expect to beat Georgetown at home every year...
I was a senior at Carolina when we beat Kentucky in Columbia in 1997. I was on the front line of the group heading out on the floor. The funny thing is, you feel all jacked up when you're running out there, but once it starts to die down, you kind of feel like a dork out standing out in the middle of the court.
It's like, "Well.........ok............I guess I'll.........head back to my dorm room now.........yep."
I'm not a fan of storming the court...too many potential problems for athletes and fans there.[/QUOT
I'd ask Brandon Powell about that.. He thought it was really fun when the Candy fans stormed the court a few weeks ago... (sucker punched a Vandy fan)
