Story of the Basketball Season

I actually won some money betting on the Vols to win the SEC regular season title.
It was close there at the end, but they came through for me.

It took me over a week to get over the loss to Purdue as I loved this team. We couldn’t make baskets and hit too many dry spells.

Go Vols! Thanks for the memories in 2023-2024.
We had no way of stopping their guys in the paint.

That, too. Edey took control every possession in the 2nd half. He either made a basket or went to foul line. It was so frustrating and we went cold.

You have to give the Purdue coaching staff credit for that change. They realized by the half that Aidoo was scared of Edey and Awaka was just too small and ran their offense thru him all 2nd half. UConn was only team that could match up with them.

Still a great season to celebrate. Maybe next season we have the size to off set those type players.

Agree. I don’t understand Aidoo. I commented in April or May that my son ran into Jefferson on the strip @ Cool Beans. They talked for 30 minutes & Jefferson wasn’t too complimentary of Aidoo. Plus he had other comments about Barnes and others. Consider the source but his own teammates thought Aidoo could do more inside defensively.
