Was walking from class today and saw Cody Blanc, kid has gotten huge since fall of last year (had a class with him) amazing what a competent staff can do.

I think the fact that we had no people running off the field with cramps during the Arkansas State game is a testament to the conditioning.

Very true, I was just suprised, he wasn't big at all last year and this year his arms are noticeably larger.

Every year we hear about a new strength and conditioning coach that's going to make a difference for our team in the fourth quarter, and every year they are replaced by someone new.

The worst S&C coach one was from the that Kiffin hired or Dooley had his first year who did not believe in lifting heavy weights.. Also wore heavy sweat and a hood during summer workouts...

In 2012 a bunch of our players bulked up and changed their physical appearance significantly.

It also made them super slow....

Reminds of that time Vegeta and Trunks were fighting Cell and they realized they had bulked up too much and couldn't match his speed. You know?

Strength and Conditioning is not that important....

but Shower Hygiene....??? :blink:

My apologies. Its good that Lawson has stayed for year 2, because we had been through McKeefery, Wylies, etc. BTW, my first post wasn't a knock on Butch, just seems like S&T has been a revolving door lately.

It is ridiculous every S&C coach we have had has been dubbed the best one we've had. When the truth is none of them were here long enough to make an impact.

The one you can say sucked was Johnny Long, considering Cut had to come in and monitor the offensive linemans weight every week in the summer.

This guy appears to be doing a good job judging by some of the strength gains they posted of the Freshman.

Maybe because we had a revolving door at HC? And because Dooley couldn't keep anyone on staff.
