Here is the problem with the Strong hire if he becomes the savior of the Tennessee Vols. If Strong has one or two good seasons with UT and Muschamp has a couple bad seasons. What will happen next? Do you think if Florida comes calling that he will stay here or go back to Florida? It has happened here before, why would anyone think it wouldn't happen again? What has Strong shown that he can compete in the SEC at that? He has had two 7-6 seasons with one 10-2. That is in what many on here call a weak conference. The only SEC team he played in Louisville was Kentucky, yeah Kentucky.

You want to hire people and have them become so successful that competitors want them. Then you use your resources to pay them competitively and keep them around.

Yep.

Look at Les Miles just this year.

Never bang a hot chick, because she may leave you when her better looking ex comes calling right? That's no way to think.

BS

You want them to fail so you can say you were right

And then call for them to be fired so you can ***** about the next coach hire.

Sometimes its not about money. I just don't want to see Tennessee as a stepping stone. It didn't turn out good last time.

I've heard that Strong didn't leave Florida with the best of feelings toward them...namely because they hired Muschamp instead of him. Don't know if he carries a grudge or not, but he may not be interested in a return to Florida.

I hope if Tennessee does hire him that he is successful. Any Vol fan would. That doesn't keep you from watching your back.
