I live in Ky and I woke up this morning to see this gem on my Facebook. "Vandy is easily the best team in that state. And if Franklin stays for 3 more years, Vandy will be what USCe is now." :crazy:

I hope everyone feels bad for me that I have to deal with this everyday :banghead2: Please help me come up with some stuff to say back to that.

Say Kentucky and Vanderbilt have been and always will be the doormat of the SEC. The designated wins at the end of the season. Only good for basketball. They have far inferior complexes, coaches, players, fans, facilities, etc. just never gonna happen. Vandy fans have been saying this is the year for the last 10 years.

I kid. They are just upset they are going to be beaten back into the cellar where the belong for the next 27 years or so. It's old hat to them by now.

Sounds like one of those cases where your team is so bad with no signs of upswing in next few years. That you live vicariously through others. Kentucky fans just latch on to Vandy as if they are their own. That is sad and remind them that Vandy can keep Franklin. Kentucky can hire Petrino. Dooley may or not be the coach here in 3 or 4 years. However when all is said and done our accomplishments at Tennessee will be competing for SEC titles. Meanwhile those 2 fanbases will be building statues for going 6-6 making Music City or Independence bowls.

Even better guys...Someone else said they think that Candy is goin to beat us his year. I Sao Candy is and will always be little brother and that even when we play them in Nashville that there is more orange than gold and black. It's our home away from home.

Granted it was the first game of their season and we have yet to play, but, both looked average - as vandy just is and SC is just over rated- both should be W's for us.

How can anyone feel bad for you knowing KY fans only have a Wernicke area and no cerebellum or cerebrum?
And you actually listen to them????????? I live in too and know better than that. :)

Apparently basing his opinion that vandy played close to a horrible south carolina last night. If usc Jr plays like that all year you can put money they won't be in the top 25 at the end of the year. They made vandy look a lot better than they are
