That is the biggest problem. I understand using your depth (which we have a ridiculous amount of) but you have to use it when you need it, not just because you have it.
There is no reason to be substituting within the first 4-5 minutes of the game unless a) a player is in quick foul trouble b) someone is hurt. That is all. I know Bruce has gotten away with this prior to the last 2 games, but as a former basketball player I understand the importance of getting into an offensive flow. I don't think our players really get that chance.
I would also like to see Pearl and McBee's minutes cut to mop-up only. Maymon is clearly better than Pearl.
Our rotation should be:
1 Goins, Golden
2 Hopson, Tatum
3 Harris, Tatum, Maymon
4 Maymon, Harris, Hall
5 Williams, Fields, Hall
That is all that should get serious PT. Woolridge, McBee, Pearl, et al would be mop uppers or reserve.
Bone coming back will help at the 1, 2, and 3 with 1 more man added to the rotation.
Our starters can handle 32 minutes a game, unless in foul trouble.
