Good to see the sleaziest and most overrated coach in football get his guts ripped out because his chokejob QB and his gimmick offense just can't get it done.

I don't agree with you too often, but I agree 110% with you on this. Can't stand Petrino, and I'm glad he got what he deserved.

Mack Brown lays claim to the former. Mallett played bad, but it's not like he has Julio Jones, A.J. Green, or Michael Floyd.

Two of his three picks tonight were inexcusable. The one where he tried to throw it out of bounds was ridiculous.

Im going to go ahead and put his name in the Death Pool thread and hope that it comes through.

100% Amen. I have a hard time thinking of a coach in any sport that I despise more.

Love the thread title. Petrino is truly a sleaze. Thankfully he is not coaching UT.

It does not matter to me, I am a Tennessee fan and whoever plays alabama.
Petrino is a pos but it would have been sweet to get a arky win today.

i'm guessing the fact that you're a falcons fan doesn't exactly help his cause any.
Obviously . . . but what he did while at Louisville - sneaking around interviewing for the Auburn job even though it wasn't vacant and was held by the guy that gave him a break - doesn't help my opinion of him either.

It's comical how badly he handled himself in his last days in Atlanta. Forget walking out on the players and organization - the guy didn't even speak to his coaching staff and informed them with a short typed out memo that he left at the Falcons complex before he snuck out.
