I was just about to post this, I love seeing 'Bama down but that injury really sucks. I bet he gets a medical redshirt.

It sucks for the guy, but Bama will probably be fine. They're stacked.

I was telling Mason the other day that bammers that are in the know around here have been concerned about the secondary this year even before this injury.

I'm pretty sure that Bama just signed like 7-9 highly rated DBs and then there's a rumor that Julio may try out some safety as well. I think they'll survive.

Those wise, cool, sage like Bama dudes you speak of, know that experience can make up for a lot of deficiencies. In our case, Athleticism will have to close the gap that inexperience has opened.

Look for Bama's D-line and LB's to be even better with enough game experience to put the heat on.

Double moves don't hurt as much when the quarterback is looking up.

Julio at safety, lulz. If Bama does that, then they aren't feeling very good about their DBs.

Coaches have been working a couple of WRs some at Safety this spring to at least determine if they're capable of making the move if needed. One is really liking it on D and might stick there. It appears that Coach Saban was just yanking some reporters chains with his remarks about maybe working Julio some at Safety too.

Starting Ss & CBs, plus at least one S and one nickel-CB/backup, are all SOs & JRs and should be pretty solid. The DB depth after that is very talented, but mostly inexperienced freshmen. Luckily two of them are very talented EE CBs.

Seems as though when I see a blurb of Saban coaching it is always with the DB's. If Saban's coaching the DB's they'll be alright.

Pretty much what I was thinking. With Saban's ability to develop DBs and the talent level they have there, I think they will be just fine.
