Regardless of whether or not they did anything to “deserve” to be there, they are clearly a better team than both Oklahoma and ND.

UGA beat #10, 14 and 23. Lost #1 and #11
ND beat #7 and #20.

So what you are saying is teams should just play weaker teams and go undefeated and get in.

Don’t forget #22. ND beat them too. The problem is having 2 losses, one of which was by 20 points, is tough to overcome. I agree UGA is better but they had their shot at Bama and lost. I don’t think they should’ve gotten another.

Exactly... So based off the playoff rankings, ND’s 3 ranked wins are actually and UGA’s are basically equal. Only ND didn’t fumble the 2 best chances they had to show they belonged.

Not to mention that ND had no way of knowing that Stanford, VT, FSU, and USC were gonna be so bad.

I hate hate hate UGA but if you dont think they are a better team than ND then you have lost your mind. They would blister ND.

I agree about Notre Dame but I’d like to see UGA play Alabama with a healthy Tua and see what happens before I totally buy the Oklahoma part.

All depends on how motivated Georgia is, if they come out flat it could be an Alabama-Utah redux. If Georgia brings it's B game they win, if they bring their A game it won't be close.

I'll say it: absolutely that is what you want. You want to get in. Notre Dame wants to get into the playoffs. Of course they do. They're not sitting at home posting on the internet, they're on the field playing the sport. You want to get in the playoffs.

It's a little confusing when we complain, we forget that the other people have another perspective. Kelly said in his presser they could have won. He may be delusional, but even if he's not, he certainly wants the team to be delusional. Believing you can do it is critically important. I don't think anybody should act surprised that there are teams out there that want a national championship. They don't want to play 10 of the top 10 teams, they want to win the championship.

There is but one reason Georgia won't win it this year, and that is that they lost.
