Sugar Bowl credited for delaying 5 Ohio State players suspensions

The Sugar Bowl Committee flexed their muscles and coerced the NCAA into delaying the suspensions for 5 Ohio State players until next season...And people wonder if the bowls are destroying the credibility of college football and the NCAA...My question is, why didn't Ohio State step up to the plate and start the suspensions now??..Guess Gordon Gee and company aren't as "morally sound" as they claim...
